nes power supply

when you push the power button on the nes, what cables are you joining to turn it on? i tried tracing them back but i cant tell. i thought it was yellow and brown. what i want to do is replace the original switch and put in a smaller, simpler on/off switch. just one for power - no reseting - and i need to know what wires to connect.

wire order from refernce of my buttons(front to back):

5-white
2-red
1-brown
4-yellow
3-orange

(and with a horizontal flip)

and following traces from power button to wires- I would have to say
red and brown
