Re: PS2 to Gamecube Questins.
First I doubt it's possible to begin with as most if not all PS2 games are on DVD-Roms. Secondly it's likely not legal as a personal backup isn't supported under "fair use" for some reason.Nonsense Man wrote:1. would it be possible and legal to copy a ps2 game to a compact disc?
Check lik-sang.com, if one exsists they'd be the place to find it.2. is there an adapter to let you use a playstation 2 controller on the gamecube?
Uness you had emulators in mind, no. If you did have emulators in mind the only way you'd get them to run is if you had GC-Linux installed and ran them under that.3. is there something that lets you play other systems games on the gamecube??

many early titles were on cdrom, and some newer imports, and smaller games, like this one japanese golf game that I have (kinda strange) called swing away golf.Sparkfist wrote:First I doubt it's possible to begin with as most if not all PS2 games are on DVD-Roms. Would running them under GC-Linux work, be legal, and where do i learn about GC Linux?Nonsense Man wrote:Uness you had emulators in mind, no. No. The GC is not powerful enough to run a high-end emulator on top of a full OS. And we just told you copies of retail games are illegal. (I don't think even some PCs can run PS2 games at full speed.)Nonsense Man wrote:Would running them under GC-Linux work, be legal, and where do i learn about GC Linux?Nonsense Man wrote:Uness you had emulators in mind, no. As people have said before, it sounds like you're trying to play PS2 games on your Gamecube. That's not going to happen. If you want to play PS2 games, buy a PS2!
