Need help with a diagram.

Post by jeffslot »

Hi guys,

Well here is what I want to do. I would like to feed two seperate power lines with a 12v r/c nihm battery pack. One line is a 12v line & the other is +5v. I figure I can just straight feed the 12v line, and use a 7805 to feed the +5 line. Also, I need to feed the 7.5 of my psone screen. How would I do that? Could I use a 7808 (or is that too much voltage)? I would like to include the r/c battery pack inside the case of my portable. How can I do this so that I will be easily able to charge it with the regular charger & still feed the 3 separate items (12v, 5v and 7.5v)? I hope I was clear. Please assist me guys, I need serious help. Any diagrams would be super appreciated!

Thanks

I've hand drawn one for you, but it's really messy, so let me computerize it. :)

EDIT: Done!

iam7805/skyone,

Guys I want to make sure I don't fry anything. How would I have to have the SPST switches set during charging to make sure I'm ok? Thanks.

Have the power switch on and charger switch off for playing.

Don't charge and play at the same time.
