I just don't get my N64. At 5:45 P.M. EDT, it was working fine, and then I went to modify it a bit (the switch), and the unit was 'on' as in voltage was going to the N64. At the SWITCH, the pos. and neg. touched sending bit sparks (hot) and I fixed it QUICK. I went to see my N64, nothing...HELP!

well if the fuse blew then the led wouldnt come on.

unfotunately, i dont think the n64 board has a fuse on the main power line... the fuse is in the power brick.

if you truly shorted the 12 or 3.3v line to ground, the n64 probably wouldnt be broken, since the massive amount of current didnt go through a component, just the main power feed wires/traces.

if you shorted any other trace to ground then it very well could be broken.

if you have a lithium battery, the short could have tripped the protection circuit.

Ah-ha, my pseudo emoness is gone, apparently, my battery is just 'retarded' if you will, as in it just won't stay kaput. Well, thanks guys, I owe you all one for this :-)
