vskid's N64p Progress with Pictures! 6-27-06

Post by vskid »

I finally decided to make a progress thread for my N64p.
So far I have a case (none of the holes are cut out), I'm part way done with relocating the controller pak slot, the PSone screen is LED modded, need to figure out a charger for my battery, and I think I killed my N64 (7.2v sparked to the 3.3v line, wouldn't work before so I guess thats the final nail in the coffin).
So now I have to find another N64 and finish up with the rest of the stuff.

EDIT: Pictures!

Ya, I'm pretty sure the screen still works, at least the N64 will only cost ~$20 max.

Pictures at top. On the case layout , I don't know where the start button will end up, and the layout is not to scale.

EDIT: The LED mod only uses 2 LEDs at the top, I'll add others if it isn't enough.

Nice case. If you paint it in the inside (and the inside only) you'll get a cool acrylic look.

not to mention that painting on the inside seriously improves the duribility of the paint job. too easy to scratch paint on the outside.

I used gimp, but it turned out as good as if I had used paint.
