Ok so im new here, me and my brother were inspired to make our own portable n64 becuase of ben. We are having a bit of an issue because we do not know what kind of wire we need to use in order to solder seperated peices together. We have a good supply of silver-bearing solder wire, and some copper wire, but we do not know which one to use.
I also have a question on how to cut the controller, where to cut it and where to place to solder as well as what to use in order to connect the peices.
please reply. I would really like your help. thank you

but what about how ben did it, it looks like he connected it straight to the chip on the control board.

and in this one it shows that it is connected straight from the light-green stript.

Are they both correct ways of doing it?
and it doesnt matter where i cut the peice on the controller? and i dont have a utility knife, so can i use like a razor or something to cut these peices off?
