I got a free VCSP!!!!!!

Post by A_Username »

I am working on my VCSP and am making it only using an Atari 2600, PS1 LCD, Case, and Infolithium L Battery, and parts that I got for free. The only thing I have to buy is time to work on it. I got all the electronic parts for free off sites on the Internet by requesting them as "samples" I didn't even have to pay the shipping.

ATARI 2600 VCS (free at Goodwill)
PS1 LCD (came with busted PS1)
Sony Infolithium L Battery (free with camera, kept it after return)
Cases (got eight as "samples" from Pac Tec enclosures)
Other Parts (free again, as "samples")

Pretty Cool, huh

I'll post Pics Later

Well don't think you've completed it yet. Cause something can always go wrong.

Not yet, I really hope I don't screw up and break something, or I'll have to find more sites that will give free part "samples"

Wait, you got EIGHT cases? Are you planning on using all of them? You realize they cost money, and if people take advantage of their samples they will have to stop.

But anyways, good luck on your project. Looks liek you got all you need.

They were only valued at $5-$10 each and they said any sample request valued at under $200 would be accepted.

I sure hope that battery was separate... not having the store restock the camera which should have a battery, then somebody buys it again with no battery.

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

Nah, the battery was separate and the camera broke so they said I could keep the battery because I was a valued customer and participated in most of their promotions.
