It's the equilibrium between growing and falling out probably (and no, I'm not saying you have hair loss like an old man, I'm saying that we all lose hair when we brush it and stuff).

All I do to my hair is watch it. No combing, brushing, nothing. but girls are still all over it. they just hate the rest of me, including my personality.

If you are actually wanting your hair to look legitimate after it is grown out, I highly reccomend going to a Rock and Roll hair salon and telling them to cut your hair in a way that will look best grown out. Then after you do that, don't cut it for a year.

ive had long hair for years and im getting sick of it. when your hair is long you need to wash it everyday so that is doesnt look rank. this is major effort.

when it gets longer than you face its starts to get in your way a lot, i hate eating when hair keeps trying to invade my mouth.

I was riding a roller coaster where I was on my stomach, to emulate Superman. I couldn't see crap. All I had was a mouth full of hair. And an eye full. It made the ride awesome though.

I want to cut it just a little, but my mom wants it down to like, an inch. Or even shorter.

All that girls like about me is my long hair and my personality it's not too long though only to my eyebrows but thats how I like it! I have the wing thing going too

i have long hair for a guy, but whats worse is that mine is dead straight and blonde which looks a tad femine.

I didnt really make a conscious decison to grow mine, i just came to the conclusion that it looked stupid when i got it cut so i just didnt go back to the baber, that was nearly a year and a half ago

I've found trimming my hair slightly (1/4" or 1 cm, whatever you prefer) helps it grow better. I've been growing it out since half way through 8th grade, and I just finished 9th.

It's pretty close to George Harrison's hair circa 1965/1966 (The way it is in the movie Help!)
