i just wanted to know is there a way to charge two rc batterys at the same time with one charger.

You'll have to do some chopping, just wire them in parallel, it will take twice as long. Wait for a second opinion, though, because I'm not positive.

yeah, just put them in parrallel and it should charge fine but half as fast.

what would be the best way to hook up two 7.2 rc battery up to a gamecube.
and i dont have the 7.2 rc battery charger to it. please help

Doesn't the GC need 12v? So you would need to put them in series, but I don't know if 14.4v is too much.

Without a charger for the batteries, it is kind of risky to charge. You can just hook it up to a 12v power adapter (one at a time) and divide the battery capacity by the charger amp output to find out how many hours to leave it on (I think about .5 amps is good for the wall adapter). 7.2v batteries get to about 8.4v (I think) when charged, so you have to consider that, too.

discharging batteries in parallel is 'not reccomended' without some careful thought and/or circutry, they will charge each other, and probably oscillate in that manner.

however, when you are charging batteries its probably fine. as far as i know (never really studied mine), most AA nimh battery chargers charge in parallel, as well, the solarcar has 108 battereis, 27 in series with groups of 4 in parallel. the whole thing is charged as a unit with one massive power supply, and nobody seems concerned about it. (these are lithium polymer batteries too).

im not exactly sure about the exact science of the matter, im just citing some observations that i have made

GC needs 12 volts just so you know and if you get anything get some Li-polys with protection circuit or better yet just buy the GC battery...
