Is 6v enough.

I am using a hipgear in my psonep so I know that will work, but what about the psone itsself, I know it has a 7805 in there that regulates most of the voltage, but is there anything in there that needs more than 6V. I found these awesome small/cheap 6V 1500ma li-ion camera batteries a radioshack and I will wire them in series to get 3000ma.

Well, you need it to be 5v. >_> Exactly 5v. And 6v cannot be regulated to 5v. So there we haves us a problem. (I used the word "haves" for comedic value)

6v might work, I ran my genesis off a 6v battery, but I think it was a bit more than 6v when charged.

yeah lithium-ion batteries come in multiples of 3.6v... so it cant be 6v

there are, however, 3v lithium cells... but those arent rechargable.

Parallel. Series would give you 12v, not 3000 mAH.

Plus, they're not rechargeable cells eitherâ€¦
