Yeah... the scaring thing should work. It worked for this guy. (WARNING: Harsh language and extreme verbal abuse to cats ahead. No cats were harmed durning the making of this web video. (None of that is a joke, actually.) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.)

Edit: I think I remember reading somewhere that this guy has tourettes syndrome... they said there was a video somewhere out there where he's yelling about a box of Total cereal. :P I never could find it though... Also, I must warn you again... he scares the CRAP out of these cats, yes, but he does NOT harm them in any way.

Guys, just teach the cat to like you more than your sister. You all sound like a bunch of upcoming oklahoma city bombers. Torturing animals and crap.
I'm the man, if you don't think so, you're wrong.

actually that worked for my cat problem. He ate 2 birds , and are family likes birds so I gave it a good spray. sorta mean, but if you catch him in the act squirt him. and if he comes in your room, squirt again. he came back in... half a year, but he's never eaten a bird (in are yard) since He just loves are yard though so he keeps coming back (we don't squirt him anymore since he hasn't eaten em').

so it probably will teach him a lesson... unless she's mentally retarted or something :D

Here is a picture of my cat when she was a kitten.

Every once in a while she gets a bird or a mouse and has blood all over her chest. She doesn't get them very ofter because she doesn't have front claws and we think she is semi-retarded.

The water thing actualy works pretty well, my brother used to take horseback riding lessons and they had a cat there and there awas a always a spray bottle in the lobby that was marked "for spraying cat if clawing funiture" and though the marks are still there I have never seen him actualy claw any of the chairs, so I guess it worked. And yes a super soaker is over doing it.

Awwww....

Anyways, keep a spray bottle full of water on your desk, and when the cat looks like she's going to relieve herself, spray her in the face with the water. (keep the bottle on a kind of mist spray, not the stream setting.) Use a clean spray bottle, NOT an empty cleaner bottle! (You may hurt the cat's eyes or nose with some residual cleaners; it's best not to risk it.)

To keep the cat out of your room, spray the door with something with a strong smell such as mint or the ever-versatile lemon juice. When our cats were little we kept them out of the bedrooms and in the house by spraying the door frame with some really really cheap kids lemon play perfume. It had a really strong lemon smell, and cats really hate that. You may want to check Wal-Mart or Target for something like that. Mouth wash should work too. I don't recommend the commercial sprays you can buy for keeping cats away, mainly because mine liked the smell of the stuff!

As for cleaning the controller, get some kitchen gloves, take the board out of the controller, and clean the plastic parts is a vinegar-water solution. It will get rid of the urine smell. (We borrowed our neighbor's wetsaw when we tiled the bathroom, but their outdoor cats were using it as a litter box in the shed... yeah. :P)

My mom bought a neat little invention from the Pet store. $49.95 (On sale its like $29.95)

Its a Water bottle with a sensor on it, so when ever the cat goes into the proximination, it gets sprayed.

No manualing spraying required, its all automatic.
