When I was in radio shack chatting up with some guy there he suggested the following method for making a mold to construct the case:
Carve the shape of the mold out of that green styrofoam they use to put flower arrangements in.
paint the shape cut otu with paraffin wax
once the paraffin wax is done it will be smooth
then paint the shape with epoxy resin which will become quite hard ( he also said something about vinyl fabrix but i cant remember what exactly)
purpose of the paraffin is to keep the epoxy from soaking into the green styrofoam stuff
once the epoxy has hardened and youve repeated the process a few times to make it strong you have a useable mold
Not sure what I would use to mold, I suppose there is some sort of plastic that I can melt into it which I could color beforehand?

This thread belongs in the Case Construction fourm. You can't move it or delete it yourself, so just keep it in mind for future reference. A mod will probably move it for you, and give you the same lecture I just did.
You should look in that forum for tips on what kind of plastic you should use and such.
P.S. To the guys that have the authority to make me one... can I be a mini-mod? Please? I've broken 400 posts... (That's sooo not enough, I know...
But I can dream, can't I?)
