Voltage is a warning!

Post by demonofaj »

Errr, on my PS1p, everything was going great till ground and input voltage touched, then it just went blacked...did I fry anything...I tried to jump the fuses...but maybe my PSONE mobo is retarded or something, because I couldn't find any of those fuses?

When my ground and input voltage touched (I was using 2500 energizer nimh AAs), it just turned off and melted through the battery holder. One battery holder later, and it still worked.

Is your screen coming on? The battery could be messed up? Is the screen bright white? That means it isn't hooked up right.

Errr, I'm testing on my home TV, and the battery is a fully charged Infolithium battery.

Yeah..try it with a different battery or a wall supply or something. Shorting the terminals of a battery tends to make it unhappy/explode

NO, it's odd, I used originally a 7.2V Car battery, in which the PSONE was on, and I was using a PCB to connect the two things, then the powers touched, and I saw sparks, nevertheless it touched the grounding strip. I now used a Infolithium battery, and still nada... :?
