If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
I opened up a Casio screen I was touching a white led to some points to see positive and negative, I then removed the led, and the tv powered off, and now it is not powering on at all, does anyone know if it is fried?
You must have brushed the LED lead against a couple solder points and short circuited it. Are you sure it's the whole LCD and not jsut the backlight? Try shining a flashlight behind it and see. IF there is no image you could try looking for the fuse and bypassing it. Most Casio's have one.
