I would like to commission someone to construct a portable Genesis, preferably similar to Ben's own Exodus. I can provide the GOAC if necessary.
Just wanted to make sure, this is the correct PnP system for the GOAC?
Please post / email me the price for a portable Genesis (with a backlit screen!) and a picture of previous work.
Cart slot - definitely.
Size - Doesn't matter, as long as it's not like holding a Playstation in your hand (it's for a gift).
Price - depends on the quality of construction, I will name a price after seeing previous work.
Also, it doesn't need to be rushed a lot, I don't need it for awhile.
I've gotta say, I can never put a cart slot on one of those things. I have a Genesis v3 lying around, which is smaller than a PSOne.
Those things are easy to put a cart slot on (relocate). And they have full support for any game, obviously. By tonight, I can show you some of my work, and we may be able to create one. I can't promise anything though.
Right now I'm actually in the progress of building a Radica portable (like the exodus, but no cart slot) for another fellow member. The portable should be finished tonight, and I'll show you it.
Any mock-ups that you can draw would be appriciated, to give me an idea of how it should look, how thick it needs to be, etc.
@chronotriggerfan: Because of this quote from Wikipedia: "Unfortunately, like the Game Gear, the Nomad was bulky and offered abysmal battery life. Six AA (LR6) batteries offered only 90-160 minutes of play time, making batteries a significant expense for using it on the go."
@skyone: I can't draw for $#!t, and I don't have any professional "drawing" (for lack of a better word) software, but I'll give it a shot. I'll get on it.

Hehehe.....LED mod, my friend; it'll get you WAY more playtime. However, if you aren't technically savvy (no offense, but if you are buying a portable, you probably aren't) then Skyone should do a great job of building you a portable.
