It's basically XP but shinier and more of a KDE-and-OSX imitator...

KDE still has more features anyways.

I probably won't use Vista; the next OS I'll use (aside from a kajillion Linux distros) will definitely be Mac OS X. Back to my roots, you know? :P ( I said "root" in the same sentence as "mac os x" and "linux". I'm so not-funny. :P)

I'm willing to look at downloading this. My dad's fed up with trying to fix his XP (It's the first version released in 2000 or 2001) so he may just want to start over and use this.

You need a Windows Live account. It's free, and it's something that all Windows Users should have. If you have a .net/MSN/Windows Meesenger account, you should already have the Live account  I'm pretty sure thats how you get it, but i'm not too sure. I just happend to type in my email and my usual password and it worked...

This is at daleighan:

Yeah, im getting a Macbook too. The black one. I'll be putting Vista on mine too

It didn't work for me on IE or firefox, and I was logged into Windows Live.

I just got an empty page, plus the Windows Vista page template.
Warranty-Voiding fun!
