Cart Port

How do you desolder a cart port
Ive tried desoldering braid but they still dont come off any ideas

What system? I know the cart port on the 2600 is pretty hard to desolder. I haven't tried desoldering the cart port on my snes, so I wouldn't know on that one.

I have a desoldering pump, and it sucks most of the solder out, I do accationally have to go back to a pin or two and apply the iron to get the slot to let go.

I also think he's taking about the Genesis slot as thats what he wanted to build, he mentioned he's getting a Radica for Christmas from his sister.

I use the same thing... And the 2600 port as hard to get out... It takes 30min or so to do it...
