That doesn't necessarily mean the GC died. This happened with my NESp and the NES was fine, but the screen wasn't, until I bypassed the fuse. But before you do that, please elaborate on what you connected what to, and the power source so we can help if you happened to mess up on connections.
Yes, as mink said, the GC is probably okay. As for the screen, do you have Ben's book? There is one part in there that has you jump a fuse if anything goes wrong, and that will bring your screen back to life! It did for mine when this happened at least.
Khaag, before you jump the fuse, undo the connections you made that caused the screen to smoke. Because if you dont, then your screen will most likely be ruined.

probably caused by all of your wires being exposed in that picture, you wanna heatshrink tube or wrap each connection in electric tape

harshboy and khaag, did you guys try checking to see if ~8 volts was even going into your screen. this happened to my first GCp but it was just my 7808 not being able to handle it, so i wired 2 in parrelel and it was fine

Dude, the Gamecube is probably OK, but you may have KO'd your screen. Unless you can jump that fuse and possibly give it second life, you'll just have to buy another one.

No i didn't... i don't have a multimeter *bows had in shame* but is it possible to fry the 7808 with a intec gamecube battery? And if more than 8V goes into the screen like say 10V, will the screen be fried? or can i wire another 7808 in parallel and it will work again?
