Gentoo program suggestion?
Kay, so i got this fancy smancy mouse, Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, and I need a program for Gentoo Linux to setup the buttons, as the defaut is screwy and the scroll button makes the webpage go forward/backward instead of the screen up/down. So yeah, thanks.
The best thing I can say to do is go to the gentto's community forums and ask if there is a driver for it that can be installed via tar (source) or portage. Otherwise you're stuck with a glitch mouse. As for the scroll wheele button, go to (I'm assuming you're using KDE) KDE control panel and go to device configurations. That should give you the ability to change it some, but really what I learned was just not use the scroll wheele button, just the scroll wheele.

Ok you can either get to it from the K menu (its the big button that acts like the start menu) or you should be able to get to it by right clicking on your desktop. This is what it should look like.
Hope this helps you out.
