Huh? Are they perefrine (as in the title) or are they peregrine (as you posted)? Not that it matters.. This still smells like spam.

Pretty sure he's talking about the endangered bird (Peregrine).
They live in cities on high-rise buildings. They're still recovering from DDT and such, and they're still endangered, although they're coming back.

a lot of that stuff about DDT is a myth and if not a myth still not wholly truthful, i suggest everyone read the book state of fear by micheal crichton, it sheds light on a lot of interesting stuff plus its a damn good read

But seriously, peregrine falcons live in Detroit. You can see them nesting and pertching on the ledges of many of the high skyscrapers. I also learned one year at the State Fair that you can join a group that raise peregrine falcons, train them how to hunt and eventually release them into the wild.
