yes, they're been around for ages

but they are way more trouble then they're worth, you have to put up with automatic adverts and messages when talking to people

I've seen some program that can see if somebody is online or not. It's just a webpage and you have to type in the msn adress from the person you want to know. Just search for 'msn blockchecker' on altavista or google and you'll find it.

There's some program (I'll try to get a name) where you can log into the other persons acount and unblock yourself or something. Sounds a tad fake, but i'll look into it.

We're all nerds here. Why don't you find someone (like Marshall) to make a MSN Brute Force program?

GAIM for linux, tells you when people are online, even if they have you blocked, and if you are even on their MSN list or not.
