i want to make a dreamcast portable but 2 things stop me:

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Only two people have made DCp's, which shows how hard it is. As you said, its your first project, so this would be very hard. And if you don't want to destroy your Dreamcast, then you can't exactly make it portable. Go with the NESp that you've posted about in the NES forum.

I gotta say, DreamcastP's are as hard as any other portables. Which shows that portables really aren't hard to make. The only true skill is the case. Every thing else can be done by beginners.
