should i start with atari or nes?
which is easier and has better results?

I second that notion. Also, it all depends on your console of preferene. NES is MUCH easier, though, what with all the NOACs around.

I would opt for an NES simply for games. It's easier, cheaper, and probably the easiest console to portablize if you can find an NOAC. But... I'll probably and up building a 2600 first because I want to see how small I can get it by designing the board myself.

If you wanted to get simplisity on the 2600 you could just go and get a Flashback 2. However if you do want to have a more compact board design, talk to Gannon.
