Ah Graduation time

Post by gamer2 »

Well, its graduation time. Today was the class of 2006's graduation ceramony, and every year the Junior class has to attend. I know know why. As it turns out at my school every graduate has to deliver a short speech. Ive allready thought up mine for my graduation, A speech with the comparison of the diploma and a cracker to a starving person.

Its a legit comparison, couse to normal person a Diploma is a just a piece of paper with your name on it, just as a Cracker is just a regular ol cracker to some one who is eating. While when to a graduate the Diploma is a sign of achievement and a right of passage, just like a starving person thinks a cracker is a great meal.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't find a problem with that. :|

we dont have "graduation" cerimonies as such, we just go into school and get a bit of paper that tells us whether or not we've failed.

no cerimonies no speeches, just a hall and a pile of paper
