I had a *working* n64 today, and i desoldered and pulled the EXT thing on the bottom as well as the cart slot. I used moose jr's method of cart relocation, and i turn on the system...
Nothing. not even the LED is working. I didnt mess with anything else but the EXT and cart slots. What the heck happened?
If you guys need pics or anything, just ask.

IIRC Moose Jr.'s method requires the EXT. Slot intact. Also, if you're using the original power supply try unplugging it for around 30 min. then trying again.

yeah, it was all grounded, and i understand the deal with the EXT, but come on!!! i should be able to get the stupid led working at least...

actually if it helps, i think when i turned it on there was a little flicker, was that the nintendo circut breaker?
