The only thing I've ever gotten at a yard sale are some pogs
...
anyway, I went fishing today
...no sunblock, just me, my dad, my brother, and a friend on a boat for 7 hours. Good thing we fished on the shore (in the shade) for a while
...
anyway, I went fishing today
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

eh, not me, but I was fishing more for bass and what not
...my brother and dad caught a bunch of panfish, but since we couldn't really move to deeper water (and there's almost no weed cover anywhere....at least where we were at the lake) I didn't have much luck
. I saw a guy catch a nice 17lb musky, though
. I tried for a bit, but we had to leave...lack of sunblock was really starting to boil our skins anyway...

Yard sales are weak sauce!
You need to go to swap meets and best of all rummage sales!
Rummage sales are usually held at churches full of old people. They all come together and pile up the stuff until the whole chirch is full of crap. Then you can either buy what you want at really low prices, or wait till the end of the event for them to throw it at you for free.
At one rummage sale I got:
Some nice records
A little TV
A 100-yr-old VHS camcorder the size of a city block
A somewhat newer ans smaller VHS camcorder
Excrement loads of blank tape.
Two "portable" typewriters
A "word processor". Kinda like Microsoft Word in a microwave.
A new phone
A comfy chair
The cheeziest three-piece blue suit you ever did see
An Elvis Presly tie (nowadays worth at least $20) but I got it free.
Lemmings on one of those giant floppy disks for some ancient computer or something....
A CB radio. Why? Because it looks cool and I could do..... something with it.... if I ever wanted to.
And probably a jillion other things I've taken for granted.

Wow, some nice finds. I don't goto gararge sales that much, although my mom/sisters/me are having one today, saturday, and sunday. Not really me, I just gave stuff to be sold. Mostly old computer stuff, but some nice stuff. Don't guess anyone on these forums live in Springfield, Missouri do you? If you do drop me a pm and I'll hit you up with my sisters address and you can buy all my stuff

Yeah I never find anything good at garage sales... except that one time in Ohio when my mom bought us an NES for $2 and it came with like 5 games. After 5 minutes of trying to start it up she threw it away saying it will never work. That was like 9 years ago to when they were worth a little more. There was this pawn shop down there that bought games for lots of money to like SNES games for $10 ea and stuff like that. Dang it is sooooo hot
it was 95° F the other day.
