gamecube controller?

was wonderting if its possible to use a gamecube controller as a joypad?

Nope, different chips. You'd have to decode the signals.

it is possible and some members here have done it, i think one was goodie. it was called the wquid64 or something like that and took a good amount of work. you could just buy a third part controller and hack it up to use a GC joystick though.

Haha, no that's fine. One question though, one the schematic, it shows Y1, 20MHz. Is this a crystal? Ususally those are marked as XTAL or X.
