Dvorak keyboard layout?

Has anyone here taught themselves to type in dvorak? I'm trying to get used to using it, even typing this post with it! My question is, is it even worth it? I must be typing like 15 WPM right now...

It's worth it. Once you get used to it you type so fast. But be sure you're committed to it. Changing between dvorak and qwerty really slows down your learning process, and makes it near impossible to learn. I was doing pretty good in it, but at school they forced me to use qwerty, so it was just easier to change back to qwerty. But yeah, I got around 100wpm average with dvorak, vs. the 40-60 I get now with qwerty, I should change back to it now that school is out. hmm...

But yeah, go for it, fun to see the looks on people's faces when they try to use your computer too.

You should of seen the look on one of my friend's (non-computer type guy) face when I left a DOS boot disk in the computer drive.

All the fastest speed-typing world records were set with the typist using a Dvorak keyboard. I wanna find one and learn it. I've heard about all the subtle changes to make typing as fast as possible. I've also heard that a qwerty is set the way it is to intentionally slow up one's typing, to avoid jamming a typewriter.
