Wow that is such a good deal, I just might take you up on one of them, just cuz' lol. Just one thing I want to know, what speed is your connection? What kind of upload/download speeds can I be expecting from my sites?

Oh and also, the domains you mean second-level right? As in www.mysite.com and not a third level domain as in mysite.yoursite.com? It's also not a sub directory like freewebs gives you, like www.yoursite.com/mysite is it? Just wondering

Thanks.

edit: Also, why no torrent files? I can understand the other things, but torrent files? How about links to torrents?

In regard to your questions:

These are second level domains. Sorry. I can't buy you a domain, cause it would just be a little much at that point. I can help you in getting free domains, though(tk atm, but occiasionally I can snag a free one).

Torrents. Umm, I am wary of any torrent files, mainly because I would not be able to check them. In certain instances, they would be allowed (linux torrrents, anyone?)

How would you like me to test the connection? I imagine they are pretty good connections, I have no problems on dialup downloading 7 mb files (actually, they download in an hour, which is pretty good).

So you mean they are third level, mysite.yoursite.com right? Just clarifying.

This isn't your own server then? You could just ask whoever it is what connection they have. Other than that I don't know of anyway for you to really test them, even freewebs could let dialup download at it's max speed, so that really isn't saying too much. Dial up is slow, lol.

These prices are absolutely TERRIBLE. Dreamhost gives you 1000 GB of Bandwidth and 20GB of space, with a free domain, for $7.95...

PancakeGoblin, I will do the following because of your response:

Drop Prices.

The reason I am offering this is because some people do not have $60 to spend on webhosting on the dot (that is what it comes out to for the lowest tier, I have seen them). Unless they want to skip the registration fee and pay for a whole year, or a whole two years, which are $100 and $200 respectatively. This is mainly for those people who cannot come up with the money for that, and who may not have the need for that either.

I am well aware that there are alternatives which give out more features for the same price, but this is for those who cannot cough up the outrageous setup fee. So I would appreciate if you would not crap the thread.

Woops, third-level, sorry.

As I said before, torrents would be allowed if I could verify thatthey do not point to illegal materials.

EDIT: If this becomes a "you can get better hosting here" thread, then I will just cancel and refund al the money. I am not forcing anyone to buy hosting, merely offering the convenience of not paying full price.

Hey, you do know that there are coupon codes that wipe out the setup fee!

Tell ya what.

Tell me how much you want for:

50 gb space
1 tb bandwidth
cpanel frontend.

Thanks.

I changed the prices. Lower.

PancakeGoblin, if you want to be such a smartass, then fine. Again, I am not asking YOU to buy hosting.

I'm being serious! What's your problem! I seriously am looking for a 50gb web hosting plan with 1000 gb bandwith and cPanel...as long as you don't want like $900/month lol.

Ironically enough, dremhost seems to have a nice plan for you. :P (I am being serious righ there).

What are you going to use all that for? A myspace-like website?

Bah, no.

And i know dreamhost has something like that, I am over there, but I hate dreamhost. They don't have cpanel and downloads are slow.

A friend of mine has bluehost, and while they do not offer as much space and stuff, he does have cpanel (last time I checked).
