N64 carts are TINYY

my copy of extreme got smashed up and the pcb itself was tinyyyyy

anyone know if game like mario zelda are as small it took up about a quarter of the volume of the catridge

anyone had experience in opening their copies of either games?

Sounds about right: NES carts waste tons of space as well

actually it varies

Zelda uses almost all of It and the heavy games like paper mario use all of it

I would be very careful with that, due to the fact that you could fry your game very easily if you take it out of the case.

i doubt it its only like any other computer component aslong i dont go rolling around on shagpile with wool jumper i shoud be good

i planning to make new cases somehow aint figured that out yet

EDIT: Oh incedentally if by some chance you power on the n64 with the catridge back to front..what would be the consequences

the world would end? i dont know, i was actually wondering that today when i was looking at my card slot and hoping i wouldnt wire it backwards, if it was possible.

all the power pins on the cartridge are symmetrical back-to-front, so if you plug it in backwards then it will still be powered normally and not short or anything. all the other pins would be screwed up though.

i dunno. you could try and tell us what happens ( :

anyways. i dont 'think' it will break anything. but i have no evidence.
