while I wait

Post by Krepticor »

If you have not noticed I have been having trouble with my n64 running...

While I waited I figured I would try doing a few other things

I have designed my controller (to be used with the portable)
to have built in rumble that runs on the n64's power (3.3 v)

This can also work for the n64 controllers not ment for portables just place the power for the rumble pack on the controller's 3.3v and ground, simple, really simple

PICS!

HEre is the whole thing

here is a close up on the rumble pack's board

how did you power the motor?

cause you should be careful about hooking a rumble motor into the 3.3v line (CPU power supply). motors create noise. it might still work ok, but its just bad engineering practice. ;)

na the camera is only 1 mega pixel no zoom...barely has flash

granted I probably could do some research and do better but it was a very cheap camera (it was a gift I want a new one...after the portables are done)

oh yea there is no noise I had it run for a while and nothing I think this will be alright for this

alright time for humble pie

There is some interference when the rumble feature is activate (extensive testing and all)

The controls become scrambeled and things operate randomly Thinking this may also be the reason why we get lines on a screen when you use one battery I'll try an inductor on the lead to the motors and see what happens

*EDIT the inductor didn't work exactly

how does sony do it?
