First, does the Yobo support a light gun? If not, it's out. Don't recommend it to me for the rest of the topic ( <3 duck hunt…).
Second, exactly how much of the Power Games IS wireless? It appears to only have one wireless controller, which wouldn't quite work for my purposes…
Third (and this is somewhat unrelated to Yobos and NES clones), is it possible to decode the signal from any current controller WITHOUT using a computer? (PICs are ok, just not a computer…)
Fourth, should #3 fail, are there any wireless NES controllers (besides the expensive and large 2.4 GHz ones that came out a while back)? IR is ok for this purpose, but the receivers cannot be bigger than say…a Yobo board.
I should also make this known: this project is not a conventional portable. It will plug into TVs for AV, but the controllers must be wireless in one way or another (not going into details at the moment, but can it be understood?). This means regardless of whether or not there are wireless controllers I can use, I still need to develop a wireless zapper.
Kind of. I don't want to go into detail on it until I'm finished (subject to change, saying more than it will be). I did that on my N64p, which is yet unfinished, and I don't want to make anything final. Just know this: should it turn out the way I want, it will be an amazing thing to see. Something that hasn't been done this way before…
