WTB: NTSC Psone screen to ship to UK

Post by daftmike »

Hi guys, I am currently embarking on my first portable, an n64.

I've already started chopping it up, i've got the psu and controls done, but i'm now in need of a screen.

Since us europeans got shafted with poor PAL conversions (50hz waverace gave me nightmares) my entire n64 collection is NTSC as is the console so i will be needing an NTSC screen.

I have browsed ebay but the shipping charges are extortionate.

I would be willing to send by way of paypal, 70 of your lovely american dollars (including shipping) for either a sony screen or one of the derivatives (zenith?)

Is that reasonable? I'm sure one of you guys has got a spare that he could help a fella out with.

many thanks
mike

Hey daftmike. I have a psone screen. I was actually looking to trade it but since your pound is worth so much I'm willing to sell. :D I cut out the part where the speakers go because I was going to use it in my car. Don't let the ugly white panel around the screen scare you it was just a template I was using to "try" to install it in the car. It still works perfectly and no wires have been cut .

Yes i know, but seeing the picture worries me a little.

Don't get me wrong though, i do appreciate the replies.

But someone must have an untouched spare, i've seen topics where some of you guys said you could pick them up for $25 or so.

Just think of all the cool karma you'd get for helping me out. (not to mention the profit.)

Think you can pay ChronoTriggerFan $25 USD, and I will just ship the screen? I need to pay for something from him. Say it is from me in a PM or something.

You see, my dad was too lazy to go and ship it. I am but a feeble transportationless 13 year old. You do not get it. I had no control. I thought the guy would come through!

Klefmung; I can send payment to anyone you want who has paypal, although i fear it will be to late by the time you guys wake up, 8:45 in the morning here.

Sam; it would be the equivalent in canadian (80ish?) if paypal allows it but i think everything gets converted to us dollars anyway.

It's okay, I know how it is. And I don't accept paypal, sorry.
