Yesss... if you want to ease the pain of those animals, you need to decrease the human population. If we were to cease many of the practices seen in the first half of this video, a global economic crash in the food industry as well as global starvation would ensue. Over the course of a few months, Millions of butchers, restaraunt owners, grocery shop workers, and others would lose their jobs.

Some of the things I find inappropriate, like tail snipping without pain-killers. I have no problem with tail and ear snipping, or castration, but anesthetic would seem to be a right to these animals...

The slaughter of dolphins I cannot stand for, dolphins being one of the most intelligent species on the planet besides humans. I think this practice should be stopped, and the repercusions would be isolated to a few small towns in japan.

Well...that was all rather depressing. Does anyone have a feasible solution in mind- at least to the problems of feeding 7 billion humans?

Damn... I'm to afriad to watch this video, but I can tell you this: I can live without meat. I mean, sure, I eat it, if my mom makes it. Because, believe me, when my mom makes something - you HAVE to eat it.

well if you think about it...it is commercial capatilism, can't afford the best conditions,

That is why I plan to raise my own stock when I live on my own, that way I know whta they eat, how they were treated and how they were butchered

Meat to me is not that big...but I do like it

Just remember that a single commercial cow is enough meat to feed a family of four for a month, also Americans need to eat more fish, like tuna

for we have had sold our soals so long ago. dont tell me you dont sit on plastic chairs and watch telivison in any regularity, we buy consume and waste with no thought remorse or concoius disision. but it will difinatly come at a price... there are common theams in our civilization comprable to that of a desease. we think its nessesary to sacrfice every thing for selfish gain. its that humanity in all its importance is in an infantcy, the idea that we should acept what we are doing is never going to make any progress. we are spoiled and stupid and soon we'll get hurt and have no mother earth to cry to any more. there is no respect any more, money is all that mesures a man.

Its because people in the US are all fat (not me, though) because they eat too much and blame McDonalds for getting them fat.
