Social Justice School Project

I am doing a project about school social justice but i do not understand the website that was given to me. It is http://www.justuscoffee.com/ I have to find the issue and write a one page write-up. I cannot change it. I am totally clueless. Can anyone please shine me the light? :idea: Thanks
too dumb to do any portables. lol

Look around and find out their accomplisments, etc. Seems like a good business.

Well, here's the deal about this fair-trade coffee stuff...

Most of the coffee you get comes from South or Central America. Unfortunately, the price of this coffee is so cheap, it gives a mere pittance to the farmers (sometimes they only get $.14 per pound, I've heard) for all that they've done. The farmers are then in poverty, and it's not a very good cycle.

Fair trade coffee, on the other hand, gives more money to the farmers. Of course, it costs more to the consumer, but it also creates a livable pay rate for the farmer.

This place seems to be about chocolate, but I'm sure similar principles apply.
