Will any of these screens work?

sorry for extra long url. Anyway, will anyone of those screens work if im building a snesP? Please tell me which one will be the best.

Also, do you need a battery, or can i make it so it runs off batteries. I see many things. sorry im a complete beginner.

Yes, they will all work, you just have to do a bit of hacking. And for future references:

Yes, any of those screens should work. Anything that takes composite in (red, white, and yellow RCA plugs) would work.

For batteries, Yes you would either NEED to run it off batteries or keep it plugged in all of the time.

There is a page on Portables of Doom that says what kind of screens can/cannot be used. Clicky

can you reccomend something that will not need modding, or fairly simple modding, i want to keep it simple for my first.

PSone screens don't need modding, but if you want any battery life you should LED mod it.

PSone screens are 5 inches and semi-expensive, to poor people like most of us here, the $30-$50 is a lot. Ben spends about $130 for 3.5 inch screens, so we can't complain too much.

EDIT: I've heard hip gear screens are pretty good, too.
