yea they kinda are... I scored one off eBay for $40 including shipping...wasn't the 100% sony Psone lcd but was the same thing

Ya, I usually grab mine for about $40 shipped, give or take $5. That's a bit....much, especially when you can get Hip Gears for so cheap now
