Official name for the GP console

Ok, up until now GP was just a codename. I wanted to see how well you guys would take this idea of me designing and building my own system, and since you took it well, you get to name it!

It has to be "high-tech" and "advance" sounding, but also "cool" and "stylish". You know what i'm talking about.

How about the DiscBoy or something? You could rip off Nintendo and Sony at the same time!

Are you sure you want to dive into something like this yet? I know I may sound off-putting but I don't really want you to get all excited about something that may be beyond your capabilities. I would love to be proved otherwise however.

Don't worry 'bout it. I know when something is beyond my capabilities.

@Skyone: Yup I am. Concept started around two years ago before I even knew about Benheck. Early schematics started a year ago. I'm redesigning the whole thing though now with more capabilities (meaning most of the early schematics are scrapped). If you want more info the link in my sig will eventually give you that info because i'm putting up a site. But so far there's nothing on that site.

Anyway, I find all of this incredibly interesting. I wonder what an 8-bit processor running at 40mhz would be capable of, when the NES and GBC only ran at, what, 2 or 3mhz? (yeah, I know, it's some strange decimal, and the transistor count will have a lot to do with it) Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but will this console use CD's or cartridges? What kind of color output can we expect- as in, how many colors simultaneously, out of a palette of how many total colors available? How much do you think this will cost in the end? Oh, and when can I buy one?

Personally, I think BlackBox would be pretty cool. You could design the look of the console around the name- like a retro analog/tape deck black monolithic-yet-slim-and-neat design.
