I suppose I do!
Behold the Nintendo DS thumb blister!
My camera was broken at the time so I had to put my thumb on the scanner. This picture really doesn't do it justice.
I wonder if Activision will give me a felt "gaming glove" like Nintendo did when Mario Party players got blisters.
Oh dude, when I used to play Mario Party, I burnt a hole in my hand from going to fast on that shyguy windup thing. That's probably why they made the Gamecube's thumbstick so soft.
Seriously though, the was a hole burnt to the bone. It was NOT pretty.

Thats exactly what happenned to me, Stupid shyguy. Yeah the blisters I got from that game were horrible. Also I remember wrecking quite a few controllers when playing street fighter.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to. Nintendo got a bunch of complaints and sent out free gaming gloves to people. I think the gloves are collectable now.
Plus, every Mario Party game after that didn't have any stick-twirlers.
I have Mario Party 2, it still has the shyguy windup game, but you wind him up by pressing A and B really fast.
Yep, I get that sort of thing a lot, especially when I pull out my N64. My hands get all callused, and I still have scars from my GBO Play it Loud! Kirby's Dreamland 2 cartridge. It's hard beating Sola and Luna when you're 3!
I can that now that I'm playing GTA VC again I'm getting my left thumb almost brused. Performing those health, armor, weapons and other cheat codes is really rough. The D-pad on the controller is really doing most of this, I should buy a 3rd party controller one that is easier on my thumbs.

god mario party games were killer. I trashed a controller once by ripping the whole joystick out when i did that. i put the joystick bewtween my fingers and shool the controller. I remember not being able to feel my hands after that.
lol wow, I find this thread sad, I can honestly say I've never gotten a blister from playing too many video games. Though RPG type games usually aren't too hard on your fingers, and I usually did move on from most games after just a few hours play time.
I have to agree. VGs are supposed to be fun, man. If you're doing physical damage to your body, you've missed the point. Don't play till it hurts. Now, hit me with the "wimp" jokes...
What? I was just playing a lot and happened to get a blister. I didn't say something like, "Man, I was on my way home from the 24-hour gaming expo to take some sleeping pills and I noticed that I got a freakin' friction tumor on my thumb!"
