My class' valedictorian (he takes all IB/AP classes, and has a perfect 4.0 GPA unweighted, weighted is 5.3 or something) cannot type worth a damn. If it was not for spellcheck, he would have worse grades than I (23 or 22 in my class atm, and sinking with this quarter, but since only semester grade counts, I think I can get 20 by the end of the year).

Hahahaha.
The school I go to doesn't offer AP/AC courses freshman year. I did place out of Algebra 1 and got into Geometry, only 50 out of 200 made it in. Next year I'm taking three AP classes. Gonna be tough. But I need to focus on getting through finals first.

EDIT: I have a 4.0, but so do like 20 other people: freshman year is easy as hell.

Im saying in like the gifted minded classes.
Gamemaster, what are you in?
TAG talented and gifted
I was never in one of those classes (while in public school). Every year they made it harder to get in, and I was always left out.

Well I'm in all Honors classes this year, since AP/IB isn't offered now. Next year, I'm either gonna do all AP/IB classes, go to Oakland University for all my classes, or go to a technology academy near me that's really good for programming and EE, and then I can transfer to OU for Language Arts+Comp. Oh, and I take Japanese lessons. Does that count for anything?

I'm about to plunge into my first year of the IB Diploma Program. I've been in the IB MYP program for 5 years now, and love it. IB is hard but definitely worth it in the long run.

Well I would say that I have an above average intellegence (IQ score is 126), but I'm not the kind of person who has any special gift. The only thing I can do is confuse people with computer talk, and maybe (I can't stress maybe enough) if I practice I could be come a half decent artist, but also half undecent.

I'm more well-rounded, but my real passion is politics and philosophy. Odd combination, no? It does make for writing some KILLER RPG plotlines, though! Now I just gotta improve my C++ skillz at tech camp this summer so I can be good enough to actually make a full-length RPG...

PS- I must agree, Sparkfist, it IS fun confusing people with tech talk! Don't do it if you have a dumb science teacher, though; she may mark you down for having "a too complex write-up on motherboards/circuits". THE WOMAN DIDN'T EVEN MENTION RESISTORS/REGULATORS IN HER DEFINITION!!!!

Lies. That is above Genius level for both the American and British mode of IQ testing, so I do ot believe that for a second. Perhaps you are in the 120-130 range. That is still impressive, however.

Gonna be a junior next year? Here is a hint for English and Chemistry. When you are assigned a the group 6/ib oral, do it as fast as possible and make sure everything is in order. It also helps to be good at speaking in front of an audience, so I would recommend taking Theatre (lots of practice there). It's fun, though, so don't forget to mess around! Although not too much...

I cannot be considered really gifted because I have essentially taken the same math 3 years running (I did all the calc stuff in my Math A2/B1 class while reviewing for the B2 exam, then I took precalc hn last year, and I had to take math methods for the IB credit. I am finally getting A's, though :P )

i'm not in any special classes but that's mainly because for the 1st 3/4 of each year i get pretty lazy and don't bother to do most of my homework. but then at the end of the year i always realize i need to get my grades up so i do all my work and stuff. when i actually do my homework i get 100% on everything. maybe i should do that more often :P

AC stands for accelerated class. It's a 5.0 class, and its a million times harder than any other class, AP or not, so I've heard. And I signed up for three of them. That was my first mistake.
