NES and SNES in a new portable?

Okay, this little One Station game console was something my friend picked up on the cheap in the philipines.

he brought it home to finland and lo and behold, it was a NOAC, but also, played some form of 16 bit games with much larger colour pallettes..

could there be some sort of GBA or SNES piracy inside?

I heard it was pretty lame. The screen is blurry, not very reactive...

but he opened it up. There is nothing inside but a screen, a speaker, and the buttons.

The games and the CPU are onboard the cartridges.

Which means they have a NOAC or some equivalent inside each of those little things, and some form of chip in the 16 bit cartridges..

that chip is something i'd like to get a hold of a datasheetfor.

I saw one of these things at a local tech store, and I picked it up ($30-ouch). I went home and opened it up, and lo and behold, it's some kind of on-a-chip. By my guess, it's an NOAC, but I've been wrong before. So here's my review:

Screen: Not bad, actually. Pretty clear and backlit TFT.

Games: 75 built-in games that are all knock-offs of some game or another. Like most NOACs, they're crap.

Controls: Kinda unreactive, but not to the point of unplayable.

Sound: Tinny and repetetive. Then again, what did you expect?

I'd say it's not a bad little product, but it's not worth the $30 I paid for it if you aren't gonna hack it. The on-a-chip itself is SUPER tiny, about 3/4 the size of a Super Joy, so if pinouts ever were drawn up, it could make for a really tiny NES or Genesis portable.

Sounds pretty good, CronoTriggerFan. How many pins are there on the cartridge slot, though? If it has 60 then maybe a Family Converter will work with it?

No cart slot. It'd be like the Radica, where you have to write up your own pinouts for it.
