can i get a emulator for PS2?

i have just gotten a slimline ps2. i noticed the usb drive on it and wondered if i could fun an emulator for homebrews on it. i got saved a genesis emulator on it and the homebrew game that i wanted. how do i access it from the menu? is there any special emulator i need to get? thanks.

You cannot access it from the menu. As of right now, I believe only an Action Replay can access the menu.

For homebrew and Emulators and such, I believe you need to have your PS2 chipped. I could be wrong, however.

The only thing I've ever done with my PS2's USB port is get images of my cars in Gran Turismo 4 onto my PC.

It would be kind of neat to run videos and stuff off the USB drive, though.

Oh and by the way, even if you could run homebrews off the USB drive, I doubt you could use Windows binaries (.exe applications).

i know in segasonicfans video he ran a genesis emu on it, he had a chip though and im not sure exactly how he did it, but therre is definitly some forum out there that could give you a detailed answer

You need an action replay for PS2, they have Genny emulators built in.
