No video or audio output or dvd reader on portable game cube

I am half way making my own portable game cube, I first dismanteled the game cube and then mesured for the plexi glass box,but after constructing the box and fitting the console I donÂ´t get any output and the DVD lens wonÂ´t light up and the spindle wonÂ´t spin but the Power LED lights up and I get a little "pop" sound out the audio output so eventhough it seems dead it isnÂ´t comleteley dead I revised my cabling and all seems in order.And I just canÂ´t understand it.
Any idea waht it might be? thanks

Seems like your getting far. Have you checked if the dvd reader is plugged in
good enough? (I also believe I read something about not plugging it in too far either but i'm not to sure) I hope this will help.

Do you have a switch to tell the GC that the door is supposedly closed? That could be the problem and I think other people have forgotten to do that on PSp's.
About grammar: just do your best, most engilsh speakers have horid grammar, so little mistake usually go unnoticed.

That can't be the problem since in that case it would booth to the main menu.

yeah, there are two blue wires that are connecteed to the disk reader. Solder them together or use electric tape, it doesn't matter. And make sure the disk drive isn't plugged n too far.

no the problem isnÂ´t the open,closed wires I had soldered them together and the game cube would ve gon to the main menu, what do you mean by relocating psu and not putting the DVD drive in so far? thanks

the small board that attaches to the bottom of the GC did you solder that on to save space?

what i mean is that if you have the disk reader plugged to far into the gamecube's motherboard, the gamecube won't accept the disk reader as being pluggeed in. This happened to me and to fix it jsut put the disk reader in about half way, and then slowly push it in further each time and wait until you see the disk reader light thing light up.

Hows it comin? Anyway, i dont know if you need it, but i just took apart my whole GCp and i cant find a simple pinout of the Composite port. Can someone draw this up for me? Just do a picture of the bottom of the GCN board and i'll take it from there. Thanks

With all this extra money to spend (from a job) i can make my GCp way better!
