hipgear/intec on 5v?
im pretty sure this has been discussed before but i need to know/find out if one will run on 5v or find a step up regulater for my snesminiP the hip gear i got from TT doesnt seem to work at all but i havent worked on it in weeks, if anyone has the pinouts for it for the controll board i need those thanks!

cool, but the hipgear i have i just get random colored lines wien i try to turn it on, no video at all

Some hip gears will run fine on 5V backlight and all. Others will be very dim and you will have to do an LED mod for a backlight. I did the mod for my NES boy and I was happy with the results. With the NOAC only drawing 50 ma, and the screen LED modded it takes forever to drain the batterys.
