How do they do that?

Post by Sword_Gun »

Hey I have a song, its called:
Chasin the dragon- Necro, Ill bill,

At the beginning he says " this is the promo, Ill bill The longer waited highly enticipated Albulm"

when He says that, it Pulsates through both speakers on my head phones.

Like This = Right phone, is = left phone, the = right, promo = left ect.

How do songs do that?

(is it some sort of holophonetic?)

I know but I like listen to Will smith, and Its just both head phones at once... and the sound is centered.

But with the other song, 1st word is in right headphone, 2nd is in left, 3rd is in right, 4th is in left ect.

How do they do it?

Im not asking what it is, I know its stereo, but how do they make songs like that?

Two microphones, or they splice the sound bits...

If you're a mac user, that's a standard feature of all their audio editing software, I use Soundtrack personally. Just fade between the left and right channels.

yeah, in all audio formats there an option for 'mono' or 'stereo', and 99.9% of all music files you have are in stereo. if it SOUNDS mono, then both stereo tracks are the same. if it was mono it would only come out of the left earphone.

Changing between two speakers is called "panning". In the audio editing software it can easily be done.
