you have to admit, with all of the first party games nintendo is showing, Wii took the show. Super smash bros is the icing on the cake... i was happy with twilight princess and mario and metroid demos there so i could hear hands on impressions, but nintendo showed even more

Everyone around was and is expecting the PS3... However, the Nintendo Wii came out of nowhere and surprised everyone. I made a VCD of the Wii intro and Smasgh Bros. Brawl (along w/other E3 clips) and I was expecting a lot of skepticism on the Wii (regarding controls). Everyone enjoyed it! They laughed and were excited at people moving to the controls.. Super Smash Brawl was the proverbial icing on the cake what with the newness and NEW CHARACTERS.

I'm sold.

I must say, the Wii surprised me. It looks fun to play, because now when you lean with the controller in a racing game and dig your shoulder into the side of the couch, it actually does something towards turning and is no longer just damn annoying!

I'm pumped that the Wii's gonna be 200$. I know they haven't annopunced it, but do the math.
(PS3 = XBOX360 + Wii.
600 = 400 + Wii.
Wii = 200)

Even though the name still sounds childish to me, I can live with it.

Yeah, that is pretty odd. Of course, its just a marketing ploy to get less people to buy the PS3. I bet they don't even consider the Wii as competition, so that's why he was able to make such friendly remarks about it. Still, it sure is nice to see the companies not bashing each other for once...

what does everybody think about the whole having friend code dealy on the wii, i hope they change it.
