$40 for 6amps, I can't figure out if it has a protetion circuit or how to charge it, though.

Well, if you want the camcorder style battery you should go to www.power101.com They have all generic batteries, i'm sure there's a difference between generic and "real" batteries, but i cant figure out what it is. They're super cheap too.

Power101 is great! The batteries work just fine, and they are very cheap. I've ordered several times and each battery has worked perfectly. I'd suggest them if you want cheap batteries.

Ya, but I doubt you could charge and play at the same time with those.
If you can charge and play with their chargers, please correct me.

EDIT:That battery costs $9 to ship, still $9.01 is a good deal.

Those prices are amazing. Some of the chargers have 4 prongs, meaning some batteries can charge and play. Sweet.

I don't really care about the charging and playing at the same time. I'm just going to make it so that when the wall power is plugged in i can unplug the batteries and put them onto the charger. I got two 4000mAh batteries from them a while back, so when I put them in parallel....i'll be playing my NESp for a looong time...

Yeah, the shipping is killer, but the key is to buy a bunch of stuff at once because the shipping isn't as much per item then. I'm glad you've all discovered the greatness that is power101.com
