On IGN they say that it's only playable with a regular Gamecube controller, that's why they still have the plugs.

I think they should turn the Virtual Boy into a little tank thing and have it as an unlockable character!

It would be cool to have Axel in the game, but it probably won't happen. Crono has a better chance of getting in than Axel for marketing reasons.

Is it just me or with wario farting is pikachu smiling? And kirby looks all like oooh! interesting.

Edit: And zero suit samus doesn't look to bad either.

Actually that SSB for DS wasnt official.
It was made by Danny Kwant of www.dual-soft.com

(I know him..haha)

and Nintendo told him to scrap the project.

Crono just might get a chance, because Melee already has Marth and Roy from the Fire Emblem games, a title that started back in the good 'ol SNES RPG days.

I read somewhere (yeah, good source) that you could in fact use the Wii remote, but only for a "different dimension" to gameplay. In other words, they're heralding the GCN pad for play on this game, but you may use the remote Nintendo is working so hardly to sell.

Heck, gimme the best of both words and bring out the controller shell + remote. Gotta have that wireless..
