Nooooo! Nononononononono- NO!

Post by NES_fanatic »

Nonononononononon NO! No-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-nooo!
NEIN, NON, NÃO, いいえ, 아니다, 无, NOOOOOOOOO!
NNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW!
[Insert Darth Vader here]

You won't believe what just happened. My trusted Gamecube memory card crashed. It just crashed, out of the blue. I put it in and it said that it was corrupt and needed to be formatted. I get this message sometimes and it's fixed by just taking out the card and putting it back in, but this time the problem wouldn't go away. Then I check it out in the Gamecube menu thing where you can manage your card, and it's empty! It magically started working again, but everything's gone! This is indeed the end of the world. You won't believe the things I had on there. 100% Soul Calibur, 100% Timesplitters2 and 3 (took like a year to get) 100% Super Smash Bros. Melee (well, I still was missing a trophy or two, but I had somewhere around 280.) In SSBM, there were tons of records that I've built up over two years, almost all of the missions I had -30 seconds on. Try playing the "Time For a Checkup" mission. Hard for you? Damn straight, but I had a 3-second record on it. Now there's nothing to prove that. I had 3,000+ feet on the Home-run competition, Every character, level, feature, everything! Now it's all gone. A total of 4+ years of labor and it just goes poof like that.
I'm sooooooooooo fecking PO'd, I need to post some images to help show my mood....

Try cleaning the contacts. That helped me with a PSone memory card once. (Of course if it works you should copy the data to a new one.)

I've lost game saves to TWO third party GCN memory cards.

Don't trade in money for the higher potential fail rate.

Buy first party! It's worth it! I lost all my Viewtiful Joe records (but thankfully not my SSBM ones!)

My pokemon silver version's backup battery died, 170 hours of my life up in smoke.
Now it doesn't hold any save.

I know how you feel....this one time...my GCp....exploded....and the memory cards were in there, so they're now all burnt :(.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Hey Gamey, I was meaning to ask you, did you keep the remains of the GCp that blew up?
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
