my protection circuit works!

so lately i havent been spending much time on portabilizing. however, my mosfets for the protection circuit came along time ago, and i finally got around to sticking them onto the board.

and it works! i hooked it up to a powersupply, and it totally cuts out at exactly 2.7v, and comes back when its supposed to. woo. so now i get to choose two matched cells and my battery situation will be taken care of.

im charging some now, ill probably have cells picked by next week.

for sure. i found these awesome ones. its two 20v FETs in a ridiculously small 8SOIC package. they have real low gate voltages too, you can drive them with almost anything. specifically designed for protection circuits they are.
